The Hotel Solana Benidorm

The Hotel Solana Benidorm is perhaps best known as being the main filming location for the popular TV series which was broadcast on ITV, “Benidorm.”

Due to its location being positioned slightly away from the main tourist areas and bars, the hotel has become extremely popular with holidaymakers from around the world.

Standard rates at the hotel are around the €90 mark for a standard double bedroom, rising to €120 for a luxury suite.

If you are travelling during the peak season of between May-September then you will need to add an additional €15 per room per night on to the cost of the standard rates at the hotel and should you only require single occupancy then the standard rates are €80 for a double room.

The Solana hotel Benidorm features the same facilities you would expect at many hotels of a similar standard.

For example it features 2 large swimming pools, 2 restaurants, 2 bars, and 2 snack food bars, with each room having a mini bar and television also.

The hotel also provides Wi-Fi internet access throughout, a children’s playground, a children’s club run by qualified hotel staff, and day time/evening entertainment.

The Solana resort Benidorm is obviously not a 5 star hotel and you should therefore not expect the height of luxury, however for the price and with the facilities you do have on offer the hotel is still worthy of consideration should you be looking to take a vacation in the area.

Independent reviews of the Hotel Solana Benidorm on the Trip Advisor website[1] are largely positive with many previous customers praising the great selection of entertainment and activities on offer and the quality of the rooms on offer.

There are of course some hotel customers who have had bad experiences at the hotel but these issues seem to have been dealt with efficiently by the hotel management by and large.

It ought to be said that every hotel is going to have some negative press, some people just can’t be pleased.
