Self catering for a week. We came across this deal for a flight leaving the day after tomorrow. The problem with booking at such short notice is that it can leave you short of time for investigating the place. Fortunately, we know that the island of Mallorca is a fantastic place to go to and that the resort in question (Alcudia) has a fine range of attractions.[1] We are just doing research rather than looking to travel unfortunately, but the huge price drop on this offer made us seriously consider asking the boss for some time off.
Sharm El Sheikh from London. This Egyptian resort has got a wonderful reputation for diving holidays[2] and we have come across last minute offers here various times. This one is in a small hotel right on the beach and the price for leaving next week is well worth snapping up.
Marmaris from London. A last minute trip to Turkey sound very appealing when the weather at home is poor, doesn’t it? This is a resort we have never been to so it would be a bit of a step into the unknown, but that can be part of the fun of last minute deals.
When it comes time to look for late deals package holidays you will almost certainly find a range of completely different offers available to you. You should make sure that you set aside enough time to look through them properly and to work out which one could be best for you. You are unlikely to find bad holidays, so it is just a question of choosing one which suits you.
