Holiday time should be a fun time of year, but you won’t be enjoying it too much if you find out that you paid too much for your holiday. Don’t Look Too Early
Generally speaking, the best late deals for holidays crop up is from around two months before the departure date[1]. If you look before this then the price probably hasn’t been reduced yet, or if it has then it isn’t by much. It is a good idea to do a bit of research on destinations and companies before this; so you are ready to move when you find a deal.

Another thing which is probably worth avoiding is leaving it until the absolute last minute. You can get excellent deals this way but it is very risky. If you have more days off work coming up and it is a trip just for you or you and your partner you might think that this is worth it. The opposite situation is also best avoided. If you put, for example, “late holidays in Benidorm” on your search then you could miss out on great deals in other Spanish resorts which could be equally suitable. For super late deals on holidays it pays to get the timing and the search right in order to pick up a top deal.
