Affordable Summer Holidays 2011 With Free Child Places

What many holidaymakers do not realise is that children of a certain age are usually eligible to book summer holidays 2011 with free child places.

It is obviously in any company’s best interest to not publicise this offer too greatly, however there are certain holiday providers who have regularly feature and continue to promote this type of offer. It is in the best interests of the club or company who are trying to sell family holidays that they promote incentives such as this as much as possible.

The main three companies in the UK who offer this are Thomson[i], Co-op[ii] and First Choice[iii], all providers of package deal holidays which are mainly focussed around European holidays.

Buyer Beware

There are however a few terms and conditions which you should familiarise yourself with if you are considering booking with one of the above companies for your holiday summer 2011, or indeed into the future.

Thomson do not offer a standardised “free child” scheme, rather the number of free places are determined by the destination.

Summer Holidays 2011 With Free Child Places

Turkey for example is always a destination with an almost limitless supply of free child places, however Rhodes has for the past few years only had about 20 free child places per summer on offer.

Thomson holidays however feature what some may term a fairer system, whereby there exist almost the same numbers of free child places in each of their destinations.

Finally, Co-op travel also offer a number of free child places with their summer holidays 2011, with their free child scheme falling in line with that of Thomson.

So where can you travel with these free child place offers?

Well, the answer is to almost any popular European destination you could think of … be that Turkey, Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, or Greece.

Some operators listed above even offer free child places to destinations outside Europe such as the USA, however those types of break are in much shorter supply so you need to book them well in advance to secure a deal.
