Ocho Rios, which means “Eight Rivers”, is located on the northern coast of Jamaica.

It is believed to be the first town in Jamaica which was specifically developed as a tourist resort.

If you’re looking for that Jamaican paradise experience, I don’t think this is the place you because it is heavily commercialised with everything geared towards the visitor including fast-food restaurants, bars, duty-free shops, etc.

But, the place has got a sort of Las Vegas style charm about it and its nightlife is definitely on the up.

Couples Sans Souci All Inclusive

The Couple Sans Souci is another one of the all inclusive hotels in Ocho Rios, located on the cliffs of the Emerald Coast.

For your accommodation you have a choice of deluxe ocean suite, deluxe ocean verahdah suite, one-bedroom ocean suite, one-bedroom beachfront suite, penthouse suite, the Prime Minister’s penthouse suite, or the hibiscus cottage.

All of the suites have a conditioning, a fully stocked minibar which is restocked every day, and state of the art entertainment.

The Prime Minister’s penthouse suite is over 1200 ft.², the stylish suite even features a powder room, a Jacuzzi tub, and a walk in spacious shower.

Out of 1112 trip advisor[i] ratings which were attributed to this hotel at the time of writing, only 62 were below average.

Jewel Dunn’s River Beach Resort and Spa All Inclusive

The Jewel Dunn’s River Beach Resort and Spa All Inclusive[ii] is located just minutes away from the Dunn’s River Falls, the 600 foot high terraced style waterfalls, known as the “Niagara of the Caribbean”, which attracts tourists every year who climb the falls in a human daisy chain.

Included in the package for this luxurious all inclusive Ocho Rios resort is an Internet cafe, basketball and volleyball, Caribbean style radiant spa, fitness centre, nine hole pitch and put golf course, and even on dive-in movie theatre.

It said that you can dine in the Aquamarina Beach Park Grill in the most casual way possible, even shoes are not necessary, merely optional.

At the time of writing, out of 626 reviews on trip advisor, 438 are excellent, 130 very good, with only 21 being below average.

Couples Tower Isle All Inclusive

Another one of the all inclusive resorts in Ocho Rios Jamaica, and another Couples Resort hotel, is the Couples Tower Isle All Inclusive[iii].

It is said that this was the playground of many 1950s Hollywood celebrities.

The accommodation include the deluxe garden which gives a view of the beautiful gardens, the Superior ocean which gives excellent Caribbean sea views, or even a one-bedroom ocean suite which has separate living quarters, Jacuzzi and walk in shower.

Some of the reviews from trip advisor include quotes such as “lovely hotel and great stuff”, “I would go back tomorrow”, “beautiful, relaxing, and fun!”, and “CTI is amazing!”.

Out of 1010 reviews at time of writing, 648 were excellent, 217 were very good, and 83 were below average.
